In addition to impoundment to abate nuisances under the above sections of this chapter, the Harbormaster may impound any boat:

(a) For failure to comply with the registration provisions of CCO 14.10.020;

(b) If left unattended upon any waterway in or about the boat harbor in such a manner as to constitute an obstruction to harbor traffic;

(c) If so disabled as to constitute an obstruction to harbor traffic and the boat owner is by reason of physical injury or other incapacity unable to provide for its custody or removal;

(d) If moored in a reserved mooring space to which it is not assigned after attempting to contact the boat owner and the boat owner assigned the reserved mooring space; or

(e) If moored in a loading area for a period longer than the period posted. [Code 1979 § 18.20.030.]
