(a) Councilmembers may serve without compensation as voting or nonvoting members of a charitable nonprofit organization receiving funding from the City.

(b) A Councilmember shall disclose the board member service before participating in official action by the City on the budget or other matter involving the charitable nonprofit organization.

(c) If the City Council finds a substantial conflict in allowing a Councilmember to participate in the official action before the City Council, the City Council may in its sole discretion excuse participation by the Councilmember. [Ord. 19-03 § 2 (Att.), 2019.]
