There is established a Department of Public Safety consisting of four separate divisions: Patrol, Emergency Management/Services, Emergency Dispatch, and Harbor Divisions. The Department of Public Safety provides police, fire, emergency medical, search and rescue, emergency dispatch, emergency management, and harbor safety services.
