11.05.020 Responsibilities of the Department.

The responsibilities of the Public Works Department shall include the following:
(a) Garbage collection and disposal service.
(b) Maintenance of all established roadways within the City.
(c) Water utilities.
(d) Maintenance of the airstrip. Director shall recommend and City Manager shall approve all airstrip service charges.
(e) Operation and maintenance of power and light utility.
(f) Other public services as from time to time may be deemed necessary for the good of the public that are within the capabilities of the Department. [Code 1979 § 10.02.]
