(a) No person may operate a vessel or shore-based searchlight or other bright light in a manner that will temporarily blind or interfere with the vision of the operator of any other vessel in the harbor.

(b) No person may operate a searchlight or other blinding light of a vessel not underway in the St. Paul Island harbor except in an emergency or at the request of the Public Safety Department with the approval of the Harbormaster, in the pursuance of their duties.

(c) No person may operate a searchlight or other high intensity light on a vessel or shore-based plant or operation in such a manner that the safety and privacy of other persons in the immediate harbor area is disturbed.

(d) All current bright lights must have downward shielding installed and all other future lighting will have downward shielding attached prior to installation. [Ord. 94-07 § 2 (Att.), 1994. Code 1979 § 18.12.035.]
