The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will maintain the Federal Navigation Channel, which will be 250 feet wide and which will have a dredged depth of minus 18 feet at mean low lower water (MLLW), and of the main and inner breakwaters. It is anticipated that channel maintenance dredging will be required periodically. Dredged material will be disposed of in the Kaminista Ridge Quarry site or other sites which may be designated.
