Before issuing a permit, the permittee shall execute documentation pursuant to which it agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the City harmless from any loss or liability arising out of any activities authorized by the permit. The permittee may be required to procure and show proof of insurance for itself and, at the discretion of the City Manager, provide a certificate of insurance naming the City as an additional insured.
