(a) The approval of a preliminary plat or of a final plat for recordation does not prevent the City from thereafter requiring the correction of any errors or compliance with any requirement in effect at the time of approval which was overlooked during the approval process. Correction of errors may include requiring the applicant to record an amended plat.

(b) The approval of any plat under the processes set forth in this chapter shall not be construed to authorize any violation of any applicable local, State or Federal law. [Code 1979 § 16.02.070.]
