(a) The Council, by ordinance, may provide for advisory, regulatory, appellate or quasi-judicial boards or commissions. The ordinance shall prescribe the duties and qualifications of members.

(b) The Council, by ordinance, may create or designate itself to be a board of review, adjustment or equalization. The ordinance shall prescribe any variations in the rules of procedure for such board of review, adjustment or equalization from the rules set forth in this chapter.

(c) Unless otherwise set forth in the ordinance establishing a board, committee or commission, the findings, decisions and determinations of a board, committee or commission shall be advisory only. [Ord. 09-03, 2009. Code 1979 § 1.12.030.]
