2.15.090 Meetings of the Council.
(a) The Council shall meet in the City Hall and hold regular monthly meetings, except as set forth in this chapter.
(1) Meetings will be determined at least two weeks prior by the City Clerk and will be held at 9:00 a.m.
(2) No regular monthly meeting will be held from June through August.
(3) Reasonable public notice shall be given of all meetings of the City Council at least three days before the meeting.
(4) Materials for the meetings shall be made available as practicable.
(5) Three unexcused absences by a City Councilmember will subject the Councilmember to discipline as the Council provides. An “unexcused absence” means an absence not approved by the presiding officer of the Council.
(b) Robert’s Rules of Order shall be the authority on parliamentary rules and procedures of the Council unless otherwise provided by rule, regulation or provision of this Code or the laws of the State of Alaska. [Ord. 19-03 § 2 (Att.), 2019. Code 1979 § 3.4. Formerly 2.15.040.]
