(a) It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in, commit, perform, or aid another in committing the acts prohibited in the City Code of Ordinances. All violations of this chapter shall be civil offenses, and shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $300.00 unless otherwise provided for by ordinance section, or within CCO 9.05.020, Level of offenses.

(b) All laws and statutes of the State of Alaska that are defined as infractions, violations, or other civil offenses are hereby adopted and incorporated as a part of the City Code of Ordinances whenever the State offense is cited in conjunction with this section. Offenses cited under this section shall have penalties assessed in accordance with said State offense. [Code 1979 § 8.01.]
