A person who turns in a false alarm to fire fighting authorities or ambulance service operators knowing the alarm to be false, or who causes another to turn in such an alarm, is, upon conviction, guilty of a City offense and is punishable as set forth in CCO 9.05.020. [Code 1979 § 8.12.]
